Lulu received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology and worked in the engineering industry. Then she earned a Graphic Design Diploma at Beijing Institute of Education and worked in the web development field. Later on, she immigrated to Canada and earned a Master’s Degree at the Centre For Digital Media in Vancouver and then worked as a graphic designer. Now she is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner after several years full time study and clinical work.
Besides the career path, Lulu is also keen on arts and martial arts. She joined the Burnaby Artists Guild in 2011, the Coquitlam Arts Group in 2012, and the Port Kells Art Club in 2015 to learn more and paint together with other lifelong art lovers. She is one of the founders of the Yun Taichi Club and won several gold medals of tai chi forms in the Can-Am International Championships. Lulu brushes her impressions of the life into her paintings with various mediums from pencil, charcoal, pastel, ink, watercolour, gouache to acrylic and oil.
