Pamela Orth is from Calgary Alberta. She did not pick up a paintbrush until 2010. Finding three tubes of oils in her parent’s office, she struck out into this new territory. With the use of the internet and her husband critiquing her work, she was able to
educate herself on how to use the oils.
Pamela’s first painting was a portrait of her uncle. To the amazement of her uncle, family, friends and herself, the painting looked just like him.

Now living in Langley, B.C., Pamela is involved in Art societies and continues to educate herself through in-person and online courses. The knowledge she has gained has given her the confidence to show her art in juried exhibitions, galleries, and art shows within Langley and surrounding communities. Besides abstracts, she loves painting landscapes, wildlife, and portraits.
