Jackson-BonitaRae

My art work revolves around my experiences from areas I have traveled, from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island, and from historical buildings to scenery that have inspired me and tell a story.

I was born in the Fraser Valley, 40 miles outside Vancouver, BC, Canada. I loved growing up in a small town surrounded by farms, rolling hills, and majestic mountains in the background. Even then I loved the colour of fall leaves and the golden fields in the summer. I loved drawing and of course my favourite subject in school was my Art Class.

My father was a true cowboy raised on a ranch in Saskatchewan. I loved his stories of the ranch, the hard work all done in those days by horse power. I could hardly wait to get a farm, farm animals, and a horse of my own so that is also a huge inspiration for my art work.

I hope you will enjoy the art work you have purchased from me and get many years of enjoyment from it.
